Devoted To Dogs Day

25th June 2016

Exbury Gardens are offering visitors to the gardens who bring their four-legged friends a discount of 20% on gardens admission on Saturday 25 June.

Dogs are very welcome at Exbury Gardens and all we ask is that they are kept on a short lead and leave nothing behind but paw prints! There are over 22 miles of pathways with a variety of walking surfaces and different habitats to explore. The majority of pathways are flat and it is very easy walking. A leaflet given to visitors on arrival shows the location of dog bins.

Well-behaved dogs are also welcome on the Exbury Gardens Steam Railway, which runs a 20min journey along a 1 ¼ mile track into the Summer Lane Garden (not accessible by foot).

We provide dog bins and water bowls and a wonderful and safe environment to enjoy. Each year we welcome thousands of dog owners to the Gardens and hope many of you will join us on our ‘Devoted to Dogs Day’ this year!

‘We recently had some friends from London to visit and were looking for something to entertain our young children for the day. We decided to give Exbury Gardens a try and I thought it was wonderful. We had Sunday lunch in the restaurant and the food was far superior to other local attractions so compliments to the chef. Walking through the gardens was beautiful with lots of little pathways to explore. I have lived in the Romsey area for many years and always thought Exbury was a little out of the way but it only took me 20 minutes from the motorway. We will definitely be a regular visitor from now on.’
