Please note that, whilst tickets are available to purchase on the day of your visit, you will qualify for a 10% discount if you book online in advance.
Please be aware that we do not accept cash on site.
In instances of extreme weather we may close the gardens and/or Steam Railway without prior notice. Please check the website and social media for updates.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the gardens and on the Steam Railway.
Visitors must have a valid gardens admission ticket or membership, and a train ticket to ride the Steam Railway.

Give the gift of Exbury to someone you love in 2025. The gift that keeps on giving will allow your loved one the chance to enjoy our spectacular gardens as the seasons unfold.
You can purchase gift vouchers for both day admission to the gardens or Friends of Exbury membership, and they are valid for one calendar year from the date of purchase, so they'll have three stunning seasons to choose from for their visit(s).
What's more is that if you Gift Aid your gift voucher purchase - at no extra cost for memberships - you will be supporting the conservation and maintenance work within our gardens.
Day ticket vouchers
- £17.00 for one adult (£18.70 with gift aid)
- £6.50 for a child (£7.15 with gift aid)
Membership gift vouchers
- £65 for an Individual membership
- £120 for a Joint membership
- £75 for a One-adult family membership
- £130 for a Two-adult family membership
Gift vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase. Friends of Exbury memberships start from the day the gift voucher is redeemed, and are valid for one year from that date.
Woof!
Dogs are very welcome to visit Exbury Gardens, we simply ask they are kept on a short lead and leave nothing behind but paw prints.

Gardens
There is always something new to see at Exbury. In spring, our world-famous collection of rhododendrons and azaleas sets us apart from other gardens.

Café & restaurant
Mr Eddy’s Restaurant, the Old Tennis Courts outdoor café, the Potting Shed*, Rhodo Pizza* and Charlotte’s Little Ice Cream Kitchen* are managed by award-winning local caterers The Little Kitchen Company.

Events & activities
We will be hosting a varied programme of events throughout the season, including school holiday workshops, family games and trails, creative workshops for adults, and theatre and music events.
