About Mr Eddy's Restaurant

Located in the former Estate Smithy, Mr Eddy’s Restaurant offers a delicious seasonal menu for brunch, lunch and afternoon tea, alongside a variety of cakes, ice-creams, and snacks. We also have a hot and cold Children's menu.

The restaurant offers a choice between picnic food to be enjoyed in the gardens, and food from our hot and cold servery to enjoy on the terrace or in the restaurant .

We take great pride in serving delicious food using quality and local ingredients and have designed our menus to cater for everyone - from quick snacks to a leisurely lunch with a glass of wine.

Afternoon tea, cakes, bakes and coffee all day.

Open 10am - 5pm daily.

Non garden visitors welcome.

What a lovely few months we had regularly visiting, occasionally with our two young grandsons who enjoy the sheer expanse and the flexibility of paths to explore, and for us, to sit on the plethora of seating areas sensitively positioned, to just soak up the glorious surroundings.

Thank you for such a lovely time, we look forward eagerly to joining again from Mid March. We will be there, first through the door on some of our visits and sometimes we come and walk the routes provided down by the river or sometimes sit and read our books on one of those seats provided in a particularly leafy, tranquil spot.

We became members of Exbury for the first time last year and loved seeing the change of seasons. What a joy to find Davdii in bloom and discover the huge waxy cups of Liriodendron. To see the development of the whole around the sundial garden was magical and we found we could identify all we wanted to from the clear, informative board.
