Situated in the heart of the gardens, The Old Tennis Courts is an outdoor cafe offering a selection of light refreshments and ice-creams with an outside seating area. Seasonal opening, ask at the Visitors Entrance for details.

Searcys summer picnic: £29.50 for two people. Choose one bento boxes per person from the menu below – Ploughman’s, Vegetarian or Afternoon Tea. Comes with two 250ml bottles of water.
Searcys sparkling summer picnic £69.50 for two people. Choose one bento box per person from the menu below – Ploughman’s, Vegetarian or Afternoon Tea. Comes with a bottle of Searcys selected cuvée Champagne and two 250ml bottles of water.
Grande Marque summer picnic £99 for two people. Choose one bento box per person from the menu below – Ploughman’s, Vegetarian or Afternoon Tea. Comes with a bottle of Moet et Chandon Imperial Brut, a bottle stopper and acrylic branded Champagne glasses. Also includes two 250ml bottles of water.
Your order should be collected on the day of your visit, between 12.00 until 16.00 from Exbury Gardens at Mr Eddy’s Café.
The following safety measures have been put in place at Mr Eddy's Restaurant:
All payments by contactless only.
All crockery, cutlery and glassware has been replaced with disposables.
All seating and tables are spaced out to ensure social distancing.
Screens have been installed at till points.
All high-volume touch points are sanitised every 30 minutes.
Social distancing markers on the floor.
Face coverings must be worn by all visitors when ordering food.
The Searcys team has undergone rigourous health and safety training and have introduced all necessary measures and procedures to keep their staff and customers safe.
‘We recently had some friends from London to visit and were looking for something to entertain our young children for the day. We decided to give Exbury Gardens a try and I thought it was wonderful. We had Sunday lunch in the restaurant and the food was far superior to other local attractions so compliments to the chef. Walking through the gardens was beautiful with lots of little pathways to explore. I have lived in the Romsey area for many years and always thought Exbury was a little out of the way but it only took me 20 minutes from the motorway. We will definitely be a regular visitor from now on.’
