Lino Printing Workshop

Learn how to design a lino block using sketches or ideas, to carve and mark make, and print lino prints with printmakers Aylsa Williams and Mandy Smith.

Aylsa and Mandy are artist printmakers and exhibit regularly in Southampton and beyond, including with the Cow Print Makers at our Five Arrows Gallery from 15th June to 14th July. They will guide you through each step, from composing your design to transforming it into your own print.

If you have inspiration for your own lino block then please bring them along. You will be working on A5 blocks.

Price: £85 including all materials and lunch.

What a lovely few months we had regularly visiting, occasionally with our two young grandsons who enjoy the sheer expanse and the flexibility of paths to explore, and for us, to sit on the plethora of seating areas sensitively positioned, to just soak up the glorious surroundings.

Thank you for such a lovely time, we look forward eagerly to joining again from Mid March. We will be there, first through the door on some of our visits and sometimes we come and walk the routes provided down by the river or sometimes sit and read our books on one of those seats provided in a particularly leafy, tranquil spot.

We became members of Exbury for the first time last year and loved seeing the change of seasons. What a joy to find Davdii in bloom and discover the huge waxy cups of Liriodendron. To see the development of the whole around the sundial garden was magical and we found we could identify all we wanted to from the clear, informative board.
