Welcome to the newest and one of the south’s most picturesque 10k’s based at the beautiful Exbury Gardens in the New Forest. Your run, on this flat/undulating course, starts in the stunning gardens and takes you through glorious countryside to the scenic Lepe beach with panoramic views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. You will then continue your journey back to the finish in Exbury Gardens.

All runners will receive a t-shirt and all runners get FREE entry into the stunning gardens after their run – so why not plan a summer picnic or coffee and cake to celebrate your achievement and make some unique running memories?

Experienced race organisers Running Mania will be staging the event for the third year in a row in June 2024, when the gardens will be resplendent with late spring blooms. In partnership with Hardley Runners and the many local community groups and organisations who also help stage the event, we are delighted to welcome you to Hampshire’s newest and most picturesque 10k.

What a lovely few months we had regularly visiting, occasionally with our two young grandsons who enjoy the sheer expanse and the flexibility of paths to explore, and for us, to sit on the plethora of seating areas sensitively positioned, to just soak up the glorious surroundings.

Thank you for such a lovely time, we look forward eagerly to joining again from Mid March. We will be there, first through the door on some of our visits and sometimes we come and walk the routes provided down by the river or sometimes sit and read our books on one of those seats provided in a particularly leafy, tranquil spot.

Beautiful walks along the river and under amazing mature trees. More formal gardens too with lovely flowers. Fun trip on the railway too.

We came here during the hot summer and left thinking, is this the best tourist attraction in the New Forest? Certainly on a par with Kew Gardens, without the crowds.

We became members of Exbury for the first time last year and loved seeing the change of seasons. What a joy to find Davdii in bloom and discover the huge waxy cups of Liriodendron. To see the development of the whole around the sundial garden was magical and we found we could identify all we wanted to from the clear, informative board.
