Gardens and railway closure Friday 21st August

Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway will be closed on Friday 21st August 2020 due to extreme weather conditions forecast across the south coast.

We take our visitors safety very seriously and as high winds can be very dangerous in our woodland gardens we have taken the difficult decision not to open tomorrow. We plan to open on Saturday 22nd August, provided the weather forecast is safe enough to do so.

If you have booked tickets for Friday 21st August please call 02380 891203 to re-book for a later date, or arrange for a refund. For those of you that have booked Donkey Day rides, please call the above number to re-book for Wednesday 26th August or to arrange a refund.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards,

The Exbury Team

‘What could be better on a trip down to the New Forest than a walk in a beautiful garden, a ride on a steam train (which my grandson adored!) and a chance to see the Beaulieu river close up? A memorable day out and a gem of a place’
