Exbury's buggy service is designed to enable visitors with limited mobility to access the main areas of interest within the Gardens. The chauffeur-driven buggy trips operate on a set route around the Gardens and stop in designated areas where passengers will have the opportunity to disembark. Buggies operate as a timetabled service on a first-come, first-served basis and visitors should be advised that queues can be expected, particularly in May and June.
Buggies can accommodate up to 12 passengers at a time.
Buggies cannot be pre-booked except unless chartered by a group of 15 or more paying individuals.
A great option exclusively for our group visitors, this is a 30 minute introduction to the Gardens and their history, with a summary of current flowering conditions. A historical tour of the Gardens, recounting stories and anecdotes of the de Rothschild family and visiting the best of the colour.
Tours start at the Visitor Entrance and can finish within the Gardens, at the Steam Railway, Five Arrows Gallery, or the Visitor Entrance.
