GHOSTS AND GHOULS AT EXBURY THIS HALLOWEEN

Many years ago, plant hunters travelled the world looking for new specimens to bring back to Exbury Gardens. But one voyage returned with more than just plants…

A supernatural cargo of ghosts and ghouls arrived in their place, making their homes in the eerie woodlands surrounding the gardens.

Most of the time there is nothing to fear at Exbury, but at Halloween the haunting begins!

Join us between 23rd and 29th October on our quest to stamp out the Exbury ghosts, once and for all! Check out our events pages for more details or click the button to buy tickets.

Tickets for our infamous Ghost Train are now on sale and we also have pumpkin carving, face-painting, spooky garden-making to ensure we have something for everyone this Halloween.

What a lovely few months we had regularly visiting, occasionally with our two young grandsons who enjoy the sheer expanse and the flexibility of paths to explore, and for us, to sit on the plethora of seating areas sensitively positioned, to just soak up the glorious surroundings.

Thank you for such a lovely time, we look forward eagerly to joining again from Mid March. We will be there, first through the door on some of our visits and sometimes we come and walk the routes provided down by the river or sometimes sit and read our books on one of those seats provided in a particularly leafy, tranquil spot.

We came here during the hot summer and left thinking, is this the best tourist attraction in the New Forest? Certainly on a par with Kew Gardens, without the crowds.

We became members of Exbury for the first time last year and loved seeing the change of seasons. What a joy to find Davdii in bloom and discover the huge waxy cups of Liriodendron. To see the development of the whole around the sundial garden was magical and we found we could identify all we wanted to from the clear, informative board.
