Exbury Gardens are open to the public from Monday 29th March 2021. Our steam railway will be opening to the public on Monday 12th April 2021, in line with government COVID-19 guidelines.

With 200 acres of stunning woodland to explore, and remarkable springtime landscapes coming into bloom, Exbury Gardens offers a colourful walking experience that lifts the spirits.

For garden lovers and those wishing to spend quality time outdoors there is lots to see here at Exbury this spring. To name but a few of our excellent early-spring features, visitors can enjoy both of our Camellia Walks, excellent magnolia trees, the River of Gold which is teaming with spring bulbs, our expansive Daffodil Meadow, and early-flowering rhododendrons, of which Exbury is world-famous for.

We’ve implemented a number of safety measures to safeguard the wellbeing of our visitors and staff. To read the full list please visit our COVID-19 safety & FAQs page.

Please note that visitors must have a valid gardens admission to ride the steam railway and tickets for the Exbury Steam Railway must be booked at the Visitor Entrance on the day of visiting.
