The New Forest Tour is back!
The ideal way to see and learn about the Forest and visit Exbury returns on Saturday 19 June and runs until Sunday 12 September 2010. All visitors using the Tour and payng to enter the Gardens will receive a FREE train ride on the Exbury Gardens Steam Railway, on production of their tour receipt.
Running seven days a week and travelling in a circular route, the two open-top buses start simultaneously at 10.15am at Lyndhurst main car park and Beaulieu village, travelling in an anti-clockwise route taking in Hollands Wood camp site, Brockenhurst rail station, Lymington High Street (Waitrose on Saturdays), Lymington Gosport Street, Lymington Pier, Beaulieu Motor Musueum, Beaulieu village, Exbury Gardens, Beaulieu Road rail station and Denny Wood camp site. The last departure from Lyndhurst is at 5.15pm, terminating at Beaulieu village at 6.15pm.
Working in partnership with local bus operators, passengers may purchase New Forest Tour tickets from buses on the routes below* including free travel to Tour stops at no extra cost, making this a real bargain and a unique day out in the Forest without the car!
Tickets cost £9 per adult (children aged 5-15 half-price) with a group of up to 5 people travelling together for £22.50 and are available at Lyndhurst and Lymington Visitor Information Centres and the Local Information Points at Beaulieu, Brockenhurst and Sway.
The Tour operates hourly and passengers can literally hop on, hop off all day and see more, explore more and, most importantly, enjoy more!
