Exbury Gardens welcomes well-behaved dogs and their owners

dogs are welcome at Exbury

Dogs are very welcome to visit Exbury Gardens, we simply ask they are kept on a short lead and leave nothing behind but paw prints! There are over 22 miles of pathways in the Gardens, with a variety of walking surfaces and different habitats to explore. The majority of pathways are flat and it is very easy walking. A leaflet given to visitors on arrival shows the location of dog bins. Waste collection bags are available from the entrance.

Dog walking at Exbury GardensWell-behaved dogs are also welcome on the Exbury Gardens Steam Railway, which runs a 20min journey along a 1 ¼ mile track into the Summer Lane Garden (not accessible by foot).

Dogs are not allowed into the visitor restaurant but bowls of water are placed outside. Further water bowls are found at the main entrance and the railway.
