Exbury Gardens in the New Forest offers a stunning location for any corporate event. The 200-acre garden hosts the world famous Rothschild collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, as well as extensive lawns, fine trees, herbaceous borders, an exotic Sundial Garden, Rock Garden and a tranquil riverside setting. It even has its own 12¼” gauge steam railway, which is available to use, adding to the experience of Exbury for your guests.
These pages will give you a brief outline of what Exbury can offer your event. Whether you are interested in a charity event (walk or staged production); car rally or product launch, our team have experience of hosting events large and small.
An event facility fee provides your chosen site and the chance to enter the Gardens through the North Lodge gates and driveway – only used by the Rothschild family, invited guests and Royalty! We attend to your guests parking and ensure signs are clearly displayed to advise locations of the facilities available. Our team are also on standby to assist in the smooth running of your event.
Why not take yourself and your guests on Exbury’s very own 12¼" gauge train on a 20 minute tour of the Gardens by Steam!
For an additional cost you can book the train for a special trip into the Summer Lane Gardens, only seen from the train, and then up to Northern Lake and the Domesday Yew. Then back through the American Gardens across past the Rock Garden to Exbury Central.
Our chauffeur driven buggies (7 passengers plus driver) are available for a lively tour of the Gardens with commentary and anecdotes. Why not book a buggy and give your guests a chance to see the best of the Gardens during your visit?
Lasting approximately 1½ hours, a Guided Tour provides more in-depth information about Exbury Gardens, the world famous collection of rhododendrons, rare trees and other plants. Maximum number per guide—25.
