Civil Weddings at Exbury
Exbury has been granted a licence to hold civil wedding ceremonies in three buildings within the Gardens.
The Five Arrows Gallery
The Five Arrows Gallery is an attractive, light and airy beamed building built in the 1930s. Recently converted, it provides an ideal location for a smaller, more informal wedding. The Gallery is licensed for a total of 60 people. This figure includes the Bride and Groom, the Registrar and Assistant Registrar and all guests. The Gallery is unavailable in March and October when it hosts plant exhibitions.
The Engine Shed
The Exbury Engine Shed, whilst a working site, is a large-scale atmospheric space, which is licensed for 200 persons, including the Bride and Groom, the Registrar and Assistant Registrar and all guests. Combined with a ride on the Exbury Steam Train for you and your guests after the ceremony, the Engine Shed provides a real talking point for your special day.
Mr Eddy’s Restaurant and Mr Eddy’s Tearooms
Mr Eddy’s Restaurant & Tearooms is Exbury’s refurbished and extended catering establishment. This bright and clean venue with rustic beams and stone-clad flooring provides a relaxed country-style atmosphere. The Restaurant will comfortably accommodate 100 persons seated, although it is licensed for 200 persons including the Bride and Groom, the Registrar and Assistant Registrar and all guests. The Tearooms are licensed for 100 persons including the Bride and Groom, the Registrar and Assistant Registrar and all guests.

All prices are exclusive of VAT. The venues are available for one and a half hours on the day of the ceremony and will not be booked on that date for any other wedding. Please note an additional fee is payable to the Registrar.
Areas of the Gardens area available for blessings, which incur a separate fee. Please enquire for details.
Closure to members of the public of Mr Eddy’s Restaurant or Tearooms may incur an additional charge payable to Pabulum Ltd.
