Accessibility

Car Parking
Bays for blue badge holders are at the front of the main car park nearest to the Gardens entrance.
Visitors with disabilities
The Gardens are fairly level with the main paths being suitable for wheelchairs. Carers are admitted free of charge into the Gardens on a one to one basis when in the care of a disabled person, who pays the concessionary rate.
Wheelchairs
Exbury provides a limited number of wheelchairs (non motorized) free of charge, available on a first come first served basis from the admission gate. Wheelchair access maps identify routes suitable for wheelchairs and are obtainable at the Admission Gate. Please ensure you ask for one. Motorised scooters are welcomed in the Gardens as long as users keep to the recommended pathways.
Exbury Gardens Railway
Has 4 railway carriages adapted to accommodate wheelchairs. Passengers can leave the train at Exbury North Station and explore this part of the Gardens, before returning on a later train (space permitting). Groups requiring more than one accessible carriage to be fitted are asked to advise in advance (tel: 023 8089 1203) so this can be arranged without disrupting the published timetable. Railway tickets cost £3.50pp.
Facilities
The Gift Shop, Plant Centre (part), Five Arrows Gallery, Mr Eddy's Restaurant and Tearooms are all wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair friendly toilets can only be found at the Main Entrance, Tennis Court Tea Garden and Exbury Central Railway Station.
Chauffeur driven buggy tours
Operate throughout the main season and cost £3.50 (30 mins) / £4.00 (45 mins) per person. The buggies accommodate up to 7 passengers, and showcase the best of Exbury’s colour and places of interest. Buggies cannot be pre-booked except as a group booking the seasonal “Exbury Experience” package. Visitors simply take a ticket from the buggy kiosk after entering the Gardens and wait for their number to be called by the driver. Clocks on the Buggy Kiosk indicate when the next buggy is due, and from this anticipated queuing times may be calculated. There can be delays for this popular service in May. March and September services operate to a limited schedule only.
