Easter at Exbury

25th – 28th March 2016

Easter lealfet

All the colours and scents of spring combine with Easter treats and activities to make a wonderful day out here at Exbury!

Throughout Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday there will be special train trips on the steam railway where younger children can spot Easter bunnies and other animals in the woods on the journey through the gardens. The Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance on the train station with a basket full of goodies to give out so keep your eyes peeled for him!

Exbury Egg

There is a new Easter Trail to follow where children are encouraged to find their way through different parts of the garden. There will be lots of Easter treats on offer in the Tea Rooms from cakes and biscuits to hot cross buns. Children will be able to decorate their own egg shell, enter our colouring competition to be in with the chance to win a Season Ticket to the gardens and take an ‘egg-your-selfie’!! There will also be special offers running in the gift shop – all not to be missed!

Visitors will also have the chance to meet our artist in residence, Stephen Turner and have a look inside the 'Exbury Egg' 11am - 5pm on Easter Sunday 27th March and Monday 28th March and hear about it's story.

‘What could be better on a trip down to the New Forest than a walk in a beautiful garden, a ride on a steam train (which my grandson adored!) and a chance to see the Beaulieu river close up? A memorable day out and a gem of a place’
