Camellia Breakfast Walk

19th March 2016

Exbury was recognised by the International Camellia Society as a ‘Camellia Garden of Excellence’ in 2014.

Join the Head Gardener on a journey through Exbury’s wonderful woodland setting to see the best of the blooms from the Old and New Camellia Walks to the Gilbury Lane Garden. He will also explain the history of the gardens and walk you through the most spectacular parts.

The tour lasts two hours and then you will be taken for a delicious 3-course breakfast in Mr Eddy’s Tea Rooms. John Anderson, the Head Gardener, will join you for breakfast so you'll have a chance to talk to him and then you'll receive free entry to go back into the gardens to wander round at your leisure.

For this very exclusive chance to see the gardens without any other visitors in it, please phone 02380 891203 or email

Tickets are £30 per person (£27 for season ticket holders)

‘We recently had some friends from London to visit and were looking for something to entertain our young children for the day. We decided to give Exbury Gardens a try and I thought it was wonderful. We had Sunday lunch in the restaurant and the food was far superior to other local attractions so compliments to the chef. Walking through the gardens was beautiful with lots of little pathways to explore. I have lived in the Romsey area for many years and always thought Exbury was a little out of the way but it only took me 20 minutes from the motorway. We will definitely be a regular visitor from now on.’
