Visitor Information

There is something to delight everyone at Exbury, from the world-famous displays of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, to riverside walks, the steam railway, tea rooms, play area and art exhibitions.

Come and discover the magic of the gardens – with over 20 miles of pathways, three woods and parkland to explore, there are surprises around every corner.

Children will love the play area, looking out for wildlife such as pheasants, squirrels, dragonflies and butterflies and finding exciting plants such as the Chinese Coffin Tree and even the Devil’s Walking Stick!

Under 3’s are free and family tickets are available. Make sure you pick up a family trail to explore it all fully too!

Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway is open daily from Saturday 12th March - Sunday 6th November 2016, 10am – 6pm (last admission 4.30pm) and car park gates are locked at 6.00pm (or dusk if earlier).

PLEASE NOTE: Admission on the steam train is an additional charge of £4.50 on top of gardens entry, train tickets cannot be purchased on their own.
